Secure standard-size wood flooring more efficiently with the lightweight, moderate-force DEWALT® 2-in-1 flooring tool. Use this flooring nailer on 1/2-inch (12.7-millimeter) or 3/4-inch (19.1-millimeter) flooring -- the magazine holds 15.5-ga staples or 16-ga "L" cleat nails between 1-1/2 inches to 2 inches in length, and two easily mounted, interchangeable base plates provide proper depth for either flooring size. The base plates are also non-marring, and a flooring foot provides added protection for factory-finished flooring. Whether you're an experienced or first-time user, the flooring nailer is easy to control, at just over 10.5 pounds, and with a longer handle and comfortable rubber grip. With a midrange SCFM (air-compression) rating of 3.7, the pneumatic drive also requires moderate mallet pressure, minimizing misfires and extending compressor run-time.
