The lawn mower uses two 18 Volt LXT® batteries for continuous operation, and the 4-bay battery system holds four batteries for twice the run time. It is equipped with Makita built motor to deliver up to 2800 RPM for faster cutting. The quiet mode setting aids in minimizing noise by offering constant speed control at 2300 RPM. Users can mow up to 1/2 an acre using four 5.0 Ah 18 Volt LXT® Batteries. It is packed with ease-of-use features like quick height adjustments and self-propel for increased convenience. This 3-in-1 designed mower is ideal for mulching, bagging, or side discharge applications. The commercial-grade aluminum deck effectively resists corrosion and ensures longer endurance for demanding applications. The mower features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), a protective seal inside the tool to safeguard tools from water and dust. This XPT™ technology is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. This 18 Volt battery assures a fast charge time, ensuring less downtime. This mower features Star Protection Computer Controls™ communication technology, which facilitates tool and battery to exchange data in real time. The Star Protection technology also monitors conditions while in use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging, and overheating. The mower's rubberized soft grip handle bar assures increased comfort. A single lever allows the user to adjust the cutting height from 1-1/4" to 4" quickly. The lawn mower includes a XML09 mulching plug (127550-1), 21" lawn mower blade (191D52-7), and a grass catcher bag that holds up to 2 bushels of grass (127504-8).
