The lawn mower uses two 18 Volt LXT® batteries for continuous operation, and the 4-bay battery system holds four batteries for twice the run time. Equipped with Makita built motor, the mower delivers up to 3300 RPM for faster cutting. Quiet mode aids in minimizing noise by offering constant speed control at 2500 RPM. It is packed with ease-of-use features like quick height adjustments, mulching capability and a commercial-grade steel deck for increased convenience. The mower features Makita Extreme Protection Technology (XPT™), a protective seal inside the tool to safeguard the tool from water and dust. This XPT™ technology is engineered for improved operation in harsh conditions by channeling water and dust from key internal components. This 18 Volt battery assures fastest charge time, ensuring users experience less downtime. This mower features Star Protection Computer Controls™ communication technology, which facilitates tool and battery to exchange data in real time and monitors conditions while in use to safeguard against overloading, over discharging as well as overheating. The lawn mower includes an 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion dual port charger (DC18RD), mulching plug (127515-3), 18" lawn mower blade (191D51-9), four 18 Volt LXT® Lithium-Ion 5.0 Amp-hours battery (BL1850B) and a grass catcher bag (127505-6). This grass catcher bag holds up to 1.7 bushels of grass.
