This circular saw features Makita built electronically controlled BL™ motor that delivers 5,100 RPM, maximum versatility and performance for up to 50% longer run time, increased power and speed. Eliminating the carbon brushes, this BL™ brushless motor runs cooler and more efficiently for longer life. It has Automatic Speed Change™ technology that helps to adjust cutting speed and torque during cutting for optimum performance. Tool powered by an 18 Volt Lithium-Ion slide style battery assures fastest charge time, more working time and minimal sitting time on the charger.
